Year 2 Teacher - Full-Time Opportunity | Altrincham

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is excited to be working in partnership with a friendly and ambitious primary school in Altrincham that is seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact within a supportive school that values staff wellbeing, professional growth, and high-quality teaching.
About the RoleAs the successful Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils during this important stage of their primary education. Working as part of a collaborative Key Stage 1 team, you will help create a positive learning environment where every child can flourish academically and socially.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
- Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maximise pupil achievement
- Contributing to wider school life, including meetings, events, and professional development opportunities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who is committed to providing outstanding education and helping pupils reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective classroom management and organisational abilities
- Experience adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs
- Confidence using technology to support teaching and learning
- A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for education
- Qualified Teacher Status (
QTS
) - Experience teaching within KS1, ideally in Year 2
- Early Career Teachers (
ECTs
) are encouraged to apply - Commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
