A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator to join the team at Homeland Day Nursery. If you're an individual who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on children's lives and can lead and inspire a dynamic team, then we want to hear from you!

This is for a full-time role 40 hours a week all year role, however part-time hours will be considered. The Nursery is known to be an exceptional nursery in the local area with a busy waiting list. as well as being well supported as part of a local group of nurseries already known and well ran in the area. To apply for this role, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse

Except for occasional training you are not required to work evening or weekends. The setting is closed on all bank holidays, we also do not open on Christmas Eve!! The nursery closes over Christmas until the first working day in the New Year.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Are you qualified in Early Years at Level 3 or above?
  • Are you an energetic and innovative individual and enjoys working in a creative setting?
  • Are you able to work to high standards and use your initiative as required by the job?
  • Are you in tune with a child’s interests and able to capture those “teachable” moments, while inspiring awe and wonder in each individual child to extend on their learning and development outcomes?
  • Do you have experience of taking responsibility for key children’s learning development and can monitor, assess, and record children’s outcomes? Can you evaluate and plan challenging yet fun next steps?

Safeguarding is our first priority. The successful applicant will need to provide evidence of their ‘right to work in the UK’, undertake a DBS, and provide satisfactory work references before they start their contract.
