The Energy unit delivers services to clients globally across several sectors including hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation and transmission & distribution networks. Together we provide integrated engineering and project management services across the project lifecycle – from concept and design to construction and operations, to decommissioning or repowering and life extension. Our Nuclear, Defence and Civil division continues to grow, and we are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Technician to strengthen our multidisciplinary delivery teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the development and delivery of complex projects across the nuclear, defence, energy and major infrastructure sectors. Working closely with engineers, designers and BIM professionals, you will lead the production and coordination of high-quality digital engineering solutions, helping to drive excellence in project delivery while supporting the development of less experienced team members.

As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes, standards and digital delivery practices, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in line with client and business requirements.

• Lead the production, coordination and management of MEP BIM models and associated deliverables using Revit and other digital design tools
• Oversee the preparation and development of detailed drawings, schedules and technical documentation across all project stages
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services within wider project models
• Support the implementation of BIM standards, procedures and information management requirements across projects
• Undertake model reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Technicians and junior team members
• Contribute to clash detection, model coordination and design reviews to support efficient project delivery
• Participate in site surveys, technical workshops and client meetings as required
• Support project teams in resolving technical and design coordination challenges
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice in digital delivery

Essential:

• Extensive experience producing and coordinating MEP BIM models using Revit
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, information management principles and industry standards
• Experience coordinating MEP services within multidisciplinary design environments
• Sound knowledge of building services engineering, construction methodologies and relevant regulations
• Ability to review and check technical deliverables to a high standard
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members
