Credit Controller

Job Details

Part Time Permanent Role – Monday to Thursday, ideally 5 hours per day (flexible). 20 hours per week. £26,000 to £28,000 full‑time equivalent, pro‑rated to £13,866 to £14,933 depending on experience.

Location:

Altrincham – 100 % office based, no hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up new client accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Assess creditworthiness for new and existing clients.
  • Raise invoices and schedule billing.
  • Post and allocate payments, including BACS and cheque receipts.
  • Manage debt chasing via phone, email and written communication.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare client statements.
  • Update aged debt reports and support monthly finance meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A friendly, positive approach and willingness to support the wider team.
