Your new role
As a Tax Disputes Senior Manager, you will lead and manage a portfolio of complex HMRC enquiries and tax dispute cases. You’ll work closely with clients, internal specialists, and external advisors to deliver strategic solutions and ensure optimal outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading civil tax investigations and dispute resolution processes
Advising clients on HMRC correspondence, settlement strategies, and risk mitigation
Drafting technical reports and correspondence with clarity and precision
Managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members
Collaborating with directors on business development and thought leadership
Staying up to date with evolving legislation and HMRC practices
What you'll need to succeedACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), with significant experience in tax disputes or investigations
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures
Proven ability to manage complex cases and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Excellent report writing and analytical skillsA proactive, client-focused mindset with commercial awareness
Experience in a consultancy or advisory environment is highly desirable.
