We’re seeking an experienced PMO Analyst to join a dynamic Digital team within a busy NHS Hospital Trust in the North West of England. You’ll play a key role in supporting a high‑profile Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation programme alongside a broad portfolio of BAU digital projects/programmes. This is a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment where your governance, planning, and reporting expertise will enable safe, timely, and value‑driven outcomes for patients and staff.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Governance & Assurance
- Maintain and continuously improve programme/project governance frameworks, standards, and controls.
- Facilitate stage gates, change control, quality reviews, and compliance with Trust and national standards.
- RAID Management
- Own the RAID process log, track, and actively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate mitigation actions, elevate appropriately, and provide clear status visibility to stakeholders.
- Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain integrated programme and project plans (milestones, critical path, dependencies).
- Support resource planning, capacity tracking, and forward look/rolling wave planning.
- Reporting & Insights
- Produce insightful reports and dashboards for steering groups and boards (RAG status, KPIs, milestones, benefits, risks).
- Translate complex delivery status into clear, actionable insights for clinical, operational, and digital leaders.
- Delivery Support
- Support project managers and workstream leads across EPR and BAU portfolios with set‑up, onboarding, and delivery discipline.
- Coordinate workshops, maintain documentation repositories, ensure version control and audit readiness.
- Benefits & Change Readiness
- Assist in defining benefits baselines, tracking realisation, and aligning with clinical safety and operational readiness plans.
- Help ensure change impacts, communications, and training plans are aligned with delivery timelines.
- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst in complex digital and/or NHS programme environments.
- Strong capability across governance, RAID management, planning, reporting, and delivery support.
- Proficient with PMO toolsets (e.g., MS Project/Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams; exposure to Power BI an advantage).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, comfortable working with clinical, operational, and technical teams.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive, with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Experience in EPR implementations (e.g., Cerner/Oracle, Epic, Allscripts/Altera, Meditech, System C, etc.).
- Familiarity with NHS governance (e.g., clinical safety, IG, change control, financial controls).
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile/Hybrid delivery).
- Opportunity to contribute to a landmark EPR implementation improving patient safety, experience, and efficiency.
- Supportive, collaborative team culture with strong clinical and operational engagement.
- Hybrid working pattern: 3 days on‑site / 2 days from home.
- Competitive day rate.
- Initial 6‑month contract with a high likelihood of extension, subject to performance and programme needs.
- Outside IR35.
