Overview
We are looking for an E-Commerce Assistant (with Data Analyst Skills) to work for a well-established premium oral care brand based in Altrincham. 4 days office-based, 1 day WFH.

E-Commerce Manager.

As we continue to scale, we're looking for a sharp, organised and data-driven E-Commerce Assistant to help us deliver an exceptional online shopping experience.
Role OverviewThis role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, loves problem-solving, and has a knack for turning numbers into insights. You'll work closely with our E-Commerce Manager to support the day-to-day running of our online store, while also analysing performance data to drive smarter, faster decisions. You'll have a hands-on role in maintaining site performance, supporting campaigns, monitoring stock, and optimising customer journeys — all while providing valuable data insights to help shape growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities- E-Commerce Operations:
Support the E-Commerce Manager in the daily running of the online store (product uploads, price changes, stock updates, product descriptions, imagery). - Manage and update promotions, bundles, and special offers across platforms.
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with operations to avoid overselling or stock-outs.
- Ensure product pages are optimised for SEO and conversion.
- Assist with merchandising and improving site navigation and user experience.
- Pull, clean, and analyse data from key platforms (e.g. Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta, Tik Tok).
- Track KPIs such as conversion rates, AOV, ROAS, and customer retention metrics.
- Build and maintain weekly/monthly dashboards to share insights with the team.
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve customer experience and drive sales growth.
- Support testing initiatives (A/B tests, landing page optimisation, new product launches).
- Support customer service processes related to order queries, returns, and delivery issues.
- Identify and flag recurring issues to help improve the online experience.
- Work with marketing to ensure campaigns are accurately reflected online.
- 1-2 years of experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Shopify (or similar e-commerce platform) is essential.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta dashboards, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Klaviyo or other CRM/email marketing platforms (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
