Registered Veterinary Nurse- Newly qualified

We are looking for a newly qualified or early-career RVN to join our nursing team in a modern, developing first opinion practice.

This is a role where you will be supported to build confidence, develop your clinical skills properly, and become part of a team that values high standards and continuous improvement.

Starting your career as an RVN can feel overwhelming. We aim to create an environment where you are supported, encouraged to ask questions, and given opportunities to develop without being thrown in unsupported.

You will work alongside experienced vets, RVNs and support staff who enjoy teaching and developing nurses.

Our nurses are actively involved in patient management and clinical decision making.

You will have the opportunity to develop skills in:

• Nurse consultations and triage
• Anaesthesia and theatre nursing
• Multiparameter monitoring (ECG, capnography, blood pressure)
• Inpatient care and recovery
• Schedule 3 procedures
• Dental radiography and full dental workflows
• Multimodal analgesia and local anaesthetic techniques

We are also continuing to develop:

• Point of care ultrasound within the nursing team
• AI supported tools including HT Vista
• AI assisted clinical note taking

This is a practice where nurses are encouraged to use and develop their skills properly.

• Caseload including advanced soft tissue and orthopaedics

• 40 hours per week (including a paid 30 minute lunch break)

• £27,000-£30,000 depending on experience and capability
