Software Developer, Software Engineer, C# ​/ Unity Developer

Butler Rose are delighted to partner with a well-established Top innovative firm based in Altrincham supporting over 4,000 users across 100+ client locations who due to expansion require a Software Developer to join an in-house development team to play a key role in delivering secure, scalable and innovative technology solutions, assisting a wide range of businesses thrive in a digital-first world.

You’ll be joining a small, supportive development team where you have real influence, exposure to varied environments, and opportunities to work with new technologies. This position involves planning, developing and debugging web applications and SaaS configurations used internally and by external clients. You’ll working within cloud-native environments hosted on Azure App Services, using PHP, C# / ASP.NET, and MySQL / MSSQL. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mid-level Developer ready to elevate their career – taking on more responsibility, shaping solutions, and strengthening cloud expertise.

Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI would be a bonus.

• Develop, maintain and enhance web applications and SaaS platforms
• Respond to development requests with professional, timely communication
• Provide remote support to users of developed systems
• Scope and plan new client feature requests
• Develop high-quality solutions to agreed specifications
• Debug, diagnose and resolve issues within codebases and environments
• Manage deployments to Azure
• Perform bug-fixing and system analysis

• 3+ years’ commercial experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, and MSSQL is advantageous
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Experience with MVC frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and initiative
