Mid-Level Back End Developer

And as part of our rapid expansion, we’re looking for an experienced Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our in-house development team.

This is the perfect opportunity to build game-changing APIs and services, whilst working alongside an award-winning team on a hybrid basis.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Type Script
• Write efficient database queries and manage data models using Sequelize and PostgreSQL
• Implement caching strategies with Redis to optimise performance
• Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Debug and resolve issues across the backend stack
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers

• 2+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Type Script
• Familiarity and experience with Postgre
  
  SQL, Sequelize, Jest, Docker, PM2 and Redis patterns.
• Experience writing tests with Jest or similar frameworks
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
