Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Full Stack Developer

Overview

My client is looking for a Software Developer to join their team. Their software products are used by consumers across thousands of locations.

This is a hands-on, full-stack position. You’ll contribute to design and implementation, support integration work, and help keep their systems stable and predictable.

• Good backend engineering skills in transactional or e-commerce environments
• Experience building front-ends using React or similar frameworks
• Confident working with APIs, integrations and legacy systems
• Comfortable improving existing platforms while maintaining reliability
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments
• Clear communicator who works well with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Understanding of CMS-driven or phased migration approaches
• Experience working in distributed systems at scale
