Summary The Multimedia Developer designs, develops, and implements interactive training programs and courseware in support of aviation training requirements. This role applies the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process and produces engaging digital learning materials, simulations, and interactive courseware. The developer integrates graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements into multiple delivery platforms to meet program standards and client requirements.

* Works with assigned experts to develop ISD products through a process that includes review and research of government furnished materials (GFMs). Interviews subject matter experts (SMEs), locates and extracts information from GFMs, syllabus, course structure, and other ISD documents as required to ensure training meets ISD and technical requirements.

* Assists in development of multiple levels of training tasks and products against training requirements in accordance with instructional design processes.

* Develops training materials in a variety of media. Follows established guidelines to design and develop training materials for delivery in various settings:

* Classroom

* Computer-based training (CBT)

* Aircrew Training Device (ATD)

* Part Task Trainers (PTT)

* Video

* Design, produce, and integrate 2D/3D graphics, animations, audio, and video assets for interactive applications.

* Uses established standards for format and style, procedures for design and development of courseware documents, and training materials.

* Implement interactivity and simulations using industry-standard technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Unity/Unreal, SCORM/xAPI-compliant tools).

* Employs industry standard software and formats technical documents to a specific standard; imports supporting graphic content and prepares for distribution in the classroom.

* Reviews and edits training materials to depict proper grammar and visual appearance.

* Proactively prioritizes efforts to meet course milestones.

* Conducts peer reviews to verify production in accordance with established quality standards.

* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design/Development, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

* Minimum 2 years of professional experience developing interactive multimedia training or eLearning content preferred.

* Experience with aviation or defense-related training programs is highly desirable. Preferred Skills Candidate must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
