- Responsible for management of location or onsite relating to collection, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and materials.
- Supervise and train all employees to ensure all scheduled jobs are completed.
- Maintain and adhere to pre-established standards for safety and environmental procedures/processes.
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely at all times.
- Ensure compliance with federal and corporate safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings; provide health and safety plans for job sites; designate PPE specifications for each job.
- Manage field projects; keep clients apprised of progress; address technical questions.
- Provide regulatory information to clients and project managers; maintain records required by regulatory agencies; stay apprised of pertinent regulations.
- Convert project details into reports and use technical knowledge to create proposals.
- Supervise technical service staff.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding waste approval, disposal and pricing; respond to new customer inquiries about the company and Technical Services.
- Provide Technical Assistance to Sales; attend sales calls.
- Prepare and approve billings; track internal and external costs.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent required. Science major preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the environmental services industry required.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have citizenship or be a naturalized citizen
