• Assist the project manager and superintendent with the day-to-day operations of an assigned construction project
• Duties for the Field Services Groundman will include:
  • Routine quality control and quality assurance
  • Conducting crew visits
  • Monitoring schedules
  • Preparing purchase orders/contracts
  • Overseeing the daily work of subcontractors
  • Estimating costs and monitoring expenditure with vendors
  • Evaluating environmental impact and right-of-way access plans, mitigating risk, ensuring compliance
  • Drafting reports
  • Assisting in running field operations
  • Analyzing data
  • Job planning
  • Troubleshooting
  • Supporting overall project objectives
• The technical expertise of the FSG will assist the organization in increasing client satisfaction, improving efficiency, managing risk, diagnosing problems, and complying with laws and regulations
