Watkins Industrial Concrete Products is a growing startup vault manufacture. We're looking for a hands‑on Team Lead to oversee and work alongside our Vault Assembly team. In this role, you'll lead daily production activities, train employees, ensure quality standards are met, and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as you will communicate instructions, train employees, and support a bilingual workforce

• Lead and support a team assembling piping, valves, meters, backflow devices, and related components inside precast concrete vaults.
• Assign daily work, monitor productivity, and help the team meet production schedules.
• Train and mentor employees on safety, quality, and assembly procedures.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, bills of materials, and production specifications.
• Verify proper installation, alignment, and quality of completed assemblies.
• Coordinate pressure testing, inspections, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and job records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including PPE, material handling, confined space requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.
• Work with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to resolve production issues and material shortages.

• 3+ years of experience in pipe fitting, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, waterworks, or a related field.
• Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and bills of material.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to maintain production and inventory records.

• Experience with water meter assemblies, backflow systems, or precast utility vaults.
• Forklift, rigging, confined space, OSHA, or first aid certifications.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory control processes.
