Technician, Installation & Network Infrastructure at Rise Broadband

• Complete installations, disconnects, reconnects, add‑ons, and changes for telephone and high‑speed Internet services at customer locations while climbing ladders, towers, and rooftops.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, replace, and upgrade network components and radio frequency/RF links.
• Maintain accurate installation, service, and inventory records and ensure proper inventory supply levels.
• Interact with customers professionally, explain features and functionality of installed products, and promote Rise Broadband services.
• Drive company truck safely, maintain equipment per service requirements, and perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; post‑high school education a plus.
• Minimum 18 years of age and valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Up to three years’ experience in fixed‑wireless or related area such as structured wiring, voice technology, or RF/cable.
• Comtrain certification mandatory and rigging certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and decision‑making skills.
• Working knowledge of PC, MS Office, networking, and electronics theory.
• Basic knowledge of RF wireless technologies, IP networking, and wireless planning.
• Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography.

• Must stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms, climb heights up to 500 feet, safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects 100 pounds or more, and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Daily travel within the company’s geographical footprint is required.
