After School Activity Coordinator – Make Learning Fun!

Are you ready to have fun while making a difference in children’s lives? Join our after-school team where you’ll help students explore sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, arts & crafts, and more—all while supporting their homework and academic success!

Position Summary

Under general supervision, you will help coordinate, monitor, and facilitate a variety of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities for our after-school program. Every day is a chance to inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence in students.

Hours

Monday-Friday | 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm | 20 hours/week
Pay: $12–$15/hour

What You’ll Do
  • Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students and families.
  • Guide children through exciting lessons in sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts & crafts.
  • Support homework completion and reinforce school day learning.
  • Supervise children and ensure safe, organized classroom and activity spaces.
  • Observe and evaluate student progress to help each child thrive.
  • Maintain program materials, classrooms, and equipment.
  • Participate in family nights, staff meetings, trainings, and special events.
  • Serve as a positive role model and help ensure student safety at all times.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • At least 6 months of experience working with school-age children preferred.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training will be provided and are required.
  • Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus.
