Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing excellent customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet members, prospective members, and guests, and provide exceptional customer service.

Handle all front desk activities, including:

Answer phones politely and assist callers with inquiries.
Check members into the system.
Sign up new members.
Guide prospective members on tours.

Update members’ accounts as needed.

Respond to member questions and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager as necessary.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

Customer service experience preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Passion for fitness and health.

Positive, upbeat attitude.

Punctuality and dependability are essential.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to exceed member expectations.

Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.

Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.

High School diploma or GED required.

Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

Stand and walk continuously during shifts.

Talk frequently in person or on the phone.

Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
