Primary Purpose
Assist teacher or administrator in preparation and delivery of activities to support academically struggling students.
Qualifications
Education / Certification
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of higher education totaling 48 credit hours, or an Associate's degree.
- Passing score on the “Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies” exam administered by Alvin ISD.
- Valid Texas Education Aide Certificate (obtained through Alvin ISD when hired).
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Ability to work well with children.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience
- Some experience working with children.
Salary
Instructional Support PG1/184 days, Starting: $19,624.
