Primary Purpose
- Assist teachers through instructional coaching to improve instruction and student performance via observation, staff development, and support.
- Work directly with teachers to enhance instructional processes, increase student engagement, and improve academic achievement.
Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree, Valid Texas teaching certification for assigned content area and level.
- Special Knowledge/Skills: ESL Certification preferred (required for ELA IC), ability to demonstrate research-based instructional practices, effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
Salary: Teacher / 10 Months
