Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

We are seeking an Industrial Pipefitter to assemble, lay out, install, and maintain pipe systems on steam, fluid, or gas lines. The piping may include (but is not limited to) pipe, flanges, supports, valves, gauges, hangers, and angles. Pipe fitters may work in all parts of the construction or maintenance site—including buildings, outside, and inside structures such as tanks or boilers. Work may also involve underground excavations and working at heights up to 300’.

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work, including locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping systems according to plans and applicable specifications.
• Perform tests to ensure the quality of piping systems.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.

• Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience.
• Ability to read prints and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and manufacturer instructions.
• Knowledge of pipe‑fitting processes for industrial piping and boiler components for a combined‑cycle power plant.
• 4+ years of experience with pipe‑fitting processes.
• Good problem‑solving abilities.

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for large amounts of time.
