Accounting Year-Round Intern - Amarillo, TX

Are you ready to jumpstart your career with a summer internship at Tyson Foods? We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Intern to support our Amarillo Complex. This role offers hands-on experience in payroll operations, administrative support, and financial processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an intern, you will gain practical exposure to real-time payroll processing, data entry, and cross-functional office operations while contributing to meaningful work that supports our team members and business operations.

• Incoming junior, senior, or graduate student with at least one semester remaining
• Preferred majors:
  Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• Previous work experience preferred; exposure to office, payroll, or administrative functions is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow processes, policies, and detailed instructions
• Professional, reliable, and collaborative

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
• Basic knowledge of financial or payroll systems (SAP exposure is a plus)
• Strong data entry accuracy, numerical aptitude, and attention to detail

• Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Willingness to learn and cross-train across office functions

Available to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer. Must have flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on business needs.
