Visa InformationTTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Position Description Provides office services by implementing administrative systems and procedures.  Monitors administrative projects for faculty and staff in the assigned academic area.

Major/Essential Functions Works with the Residency Program for Internal Medicine.

Helps ensure the residents are completing and receiving full credit.

Ensures evaluations for faculty and staff are completed on time, completes schedules, arranges and set up lectures, among many other duties to support the residency program. Works with the Administrator on paying invoices, POs, ordering supplies, reconciling supplies, and other financial duties.

Arranges registration for providers to conferences along with setting up travel.

Reviews resident's abstracts to be submitted, approve to be sent off to be made into a poster and other duties.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with paying of invoices and POs. Experience in higher education.
