Are you a dedicated Gastroenterologist looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our Veterans? The Amarillo VA Health Care System is seeking a passionate and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team. You will be providing comprehensive care for patients with illnesses within the scope of Gastroenterology.

Work Hours:
Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care in both hospitalized and outpatient settings.
- Diagnose and manage patients' health problems and design diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including colonoscopy, polypectomy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, esophageal ligation or banding of varices, dilation of the esophagus (bouginage), and small bowel biopsy.
- Currently licensed in a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Preferably certified or qualified for examination by the American Board of Internal Medicine or other appropriate specialty certifying boards.
- Serve those who have served our nation by providing top-quality gastroenterological care to our Veterans.
- Enjoy work-life balance with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Be part of a collaborative and supportive medical team at the Specialty Clinic in Amarillo VA Medical Center.
