Thriving private optometry practice looking to add a medically oriented doctor. Practicing true primary eye care, including refractive and medical ocular care to their patients. Focusing on providing innovative, customer oriented healthcare to the families of the community. This growing practice has a strong percentage of new patients that will allow an incoming optometrist to build a solid patient base quickly.

Ideal candidate will be interested in treating high amounts of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, as well as strabismus and amblyopia. Ties to the Texas Panhandle region are a plus. Experience in mission work optometry of community-health clinic based practice is a benefit. The associate position is arranged to encourage the doctor to develop his/her own “practice within the practice.” Lucrative salary offered.

• Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests.
• Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
• Contact lens fitting.
