Join EM Alliance in Amarillo, Texas! EM Alliance is actively recruiting dedicated physicians for four Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) in Amarillo. If you are Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or have strong emergency medicine experience with FP/IM boards, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour physician coverage at each ED; 12-hour APP coverage for certain shifts as listed per site.
- Support ED operations with 4% admission rate, ambulance receiving, and dedicated ambulance for admissions during specified hours.
- Utilize bedside ultrasound, X-ray, and CT within the ED.
- Work at four Northwest Emergency locations in Amarillo:
Northwest Emergency on Georgia, Northwest Emergency at Town Square, Northwest Emergency at Tascosa, and Northwest Emergency at Eastern. - Operate within an independent contractor (1099) framework with Cerner EMR.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or strong emergency medicine experience with FP/IM boards.
