Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
  • Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts
  • Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations
  • Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications
  • Conducts field checks of materials and equipment
  • Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
  • Reviews drawings and specifications for constructability
  • Reviews project materials, documents, submittals, and schedules
  • Advises project engineer of deficiencies in materials or workmanship and assists in developing solutions
  • Documents construction progress with photographs and written daily logs
  • Verifies construction quantities and prepares pay requests
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction engineering/technology preferred but not mandatory with at least 5 years' construction related experience required
  • Works hours outside of normal business hours as required for specific projects including weekends and occasional nighttime work
  • Proficient in the use of computers and other relevant hardware and software tools
  • Valid Driver's License required
