- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Works under minimal supervision with the physicians and peers to perform ultrasound imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology and/or the following licenses or certifications:
- (ARDMS) American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
- (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- (RVT) Registered Vascular Technologist or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
