Physical Therapist Location: Amarillo, TX Agency: Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. Pay: $1,502 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP

Allied Travel Careers  is working with Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Amarillo, Texas, 79106!

Physical Therapy Assistant- 5x8 days Acute Care Experience Required Daily patient load- 10-12 No Call/float 1 Year minimum experience in acute care Scrubs, any colors; no camo Certifications

Required:

PTA Certifications Preferred: BLS 50 bed hospital with census of 360ish; 7 floors where our team provides therapy services; trauma level 3 hospital; see ortho, neuro, oncology, post op back, necks, basic med surg and icu (medical, cardiac and surgical); 8-10 PTs/day; 6-8 PTAs per day on staff; work closely with OT and ST team as well as case management.

Skills Required:

Acute care, home exercise programs, lifting and transfer, medications, patient family education, patient transport to/from treatment, safety and injury prevention Units supported: cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, med/surg, neurology, oncology, orthopedics Assessment

Skills:

adaptive devices, AROM/AAROM/PROM, arousal and attention, assistive devices, body mechanics, environmental barriers, pain assessment, sensory response, skin integrity, strength testing, vital signs.
* 50 mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 50 miles from the facility. If they live within 50 miles from the facility, they are not qualified.
