Position:Tech – Pharmacy Tech (IV)
Participates with pharmacists, nursing, and medical staff to provide safe, accurate, and timely medication administration.
Job Duties /ResponsibilitiesPharmacy technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining records. Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations, and do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required- Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to start of employment.
- 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills.
- Demonstrates independent functioning.
- High school graduate or equivalency.
