Position:Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required- Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to start of employment
- 0‑2 years experience in pharmacy services; hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Demonstrates high level of organizational skills
- Demonstrates independent functioning
- High school graduate or equivalency
