Title: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Amarillo, TX

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 hours (08:00 - 18:00). Start and end times may vary based on case schedule (approximately 08:00-19:00). On-call required: weeknights (19:00-07:00) and weekends (07:00-19:00)

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile fields during cardiac cath lab cases.
• Set up and operate cath lab equipment and monitoring systems.
• Perform and assist with procedures including PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, and atherectomy.
• Recognize and respond to life‑threatening arrhythmias and patient condition changes.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, isolation precautions, and sterile technique.
• Provide age‑specific patient care primarily for middle‑aged and older adult populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe and efficient procedural workflow.
• Participate in required call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Epic charting experience within the last 6 months.
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT‑R, and CCI RCIS.
• Strong experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures.
• Ability to take call and work flexible schedules based on procedural volume.
