Position: BH Lead Therapist

Position Summary: A lead therapist, under the direction of the Department Director, supports the clinical activities and special projects of the department; and is responsible for assisting with daily operations and duties. Such activities include chart audits, monitor compliance with treatment services, verify the timeliness and effectiveness of documentation, and review data collection and input. Works closely with Educator and Quality Consultant to provide support as needed.

Assists with training and onboarding new hires. Responsible for monitoring the professional actions of staff related to service delivery. Provides guidance and problem solving to assigned staff as needed. Reports all adverse incidents to Director immediately. Manages productivity in conjunction with Department Director. Acts in a leadership role to promote the mission, vision, and values of Northwest Texas Healthcare System.

Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services/functions throughout NWTHS. Assesses or coordinates the assessment of patient healthcare and education needs and collaborates with all members of the healthcare team to meet those needs. Orchestrates patient hospital process for provision of seamless, efficient care. Demonstrates the ability to effectively allocate human and material resources to meet patient care needs.

Complies with annual education requirements and safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk to self and co‑workers.
