Responsibilities
  • The Medical Records Clerk supports the integrity, accessibility, and confidentiality of patient health information within the Clinic.
  • The position contributes to efficient clinical and administrative operations by ensuring health records are managed in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • This role focuses on maintaining accurate health information and supporting timely information flow for patient care and business functions.
  • The Medical Records Clerk promotes quality, compliance, and service excellence through effective records management practices.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of medical records management, confidentiality requirements, and document control practices.
  • Skill in data entry and use of computer applications.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff.
Preferred

Job Requirements:
  • 1+ years of medical records, health information management, or healthcare office experience.
  • Experience using electronic health record systems.
  • Knowledge of release-of-information processes and healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Strong organizational and records retention management skills.
