American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification for an inpatient and outpatient imaging role.
Requirements- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification preferred
- State or compact license required if applicable
- Experience scanning implanted devices including non-conditional pacemakers
- Comfortable scanning pediatric and sedated patients
- Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI procedures
- Experience preparing and administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Travel experience required
- Adult and pediatric patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Shift schedule of Saturday/Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm and Tuesday/Wednesday 3:00pm-11:00pm (40 hours total)
- Uses GE 1.5 Signa Echo Speed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air MRI equipment
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must be comfortable transporting patients after hours
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Previous staff must be approved by the facility before returning as a traveler and must be gone at least 1 year before returning
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
