Talent Manager, Employee Relations
We are a consulting company looking for a candidate in the West Central Illinois area as an HROfficer for a bank with an asset size under $350M. Responsible for performing HR‑related duties on a professional level and working closely with Senior Management.

Assists in administering the organization’s benefit programs, including health, COBRA, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, retirement plans (401K), and related programs. Consults with and advises employees on their eligibility for benefits. Recommends changes or additions to the benefits program to reflect employee and organizational needs.
Supports employee relations: working with managers and supervisors for reference, education, and implementation of our Employee Handbook.
Handles all aspects of recruiting, following job posting procedures and placing advertisements with various outlets to locate candidates, schedules pre‑employment testing and interviews, conducts background investigations, and provides salary and benefit information to candidates.
Maintains personnel files. Prepares new‑employee orientation materials and updates them as needed. Maintains new‑hire, termination, and transfer/promotion EEO logs and prepares annual EEO1 and veterans reports.
Updates employee job descriptions, job levels, and training checklists. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations.
Pay: $50,000 to $62,000 per year

Qualifications- Proven experience in HR Management and understanding of Human Resources operations
- Strong knowledge of HR Policies and compliance with labor laws
- Expertise in Employee Relations to support a positive workplace environment
- Proficiency in Job Description Development and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a plus
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
