IT Operations Technician

Overview

Epic is seeking an IT Operations Technician based in Madison, WI. This role is on Epic Hosting and requires relocation to the Madison area. Relocation assistance is provided.

• Monitor the Hosting infrastructure stack and respond swiftly to problems.
• Use investigative and troubleshooting skills across tools to identify and resolve network, hardware, virtualization, and presentation issues.
• Coordinate with contacts from healthcare organizations to address impact, communicate issues, and perform system builds.

• Knowledge of Internet networking protocols and tools like TCP/IP, ping, and trace route
• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, or CentOS)
• Certifications:
  
  CompTIA+, CCNA, Network+, or Linux+
• Knowledge of VMware
