We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Assistant Manager to support daily operations, lead staff, and ensure exceptional care and service for our guests and their families. This role blends leadership, customer service, animal care, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring, training, coaching, and developing daycare staff
- Enforcing company policies and procedures
- Scheduling staff, approving time off, and preparing payroll
- Optimizing reservations, occupancy, and income
- Managing purchasing within established spending limits
- Overseeing team performance to maintain company standards
- Collaborating effectively with resort owners to achieve goals
- Controlling, minimizing, and handling incidents, illness, or injuries involving pets or staff
- Maintaining outstanding customer relationships
- Supporting brand awareness and community outreach efforts
- Tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth and efficiency
- Assisting with daily operations and ensuring safety in all playgroups
- Proven experience in animal care, daycare, or pet services (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to manage staff and daily operations efficiently
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for pets and their well‑being
Candidates would ideally be available to work from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week, based on business needs; however, they will be scheduled to work five days per week.
