Energy/Power Generation
We’re a team of friends bound together by a mission to preserve our planet for future generations through innovative energy solutions and modern infrastructure. Intersect develops, constructs, and operates the most ambitious power and data center infrastructure in the country by co-locating industrial demand with dedicated gas and renewable power generation.
Intersect was acquired by Google in March 2026 and operates as an independent subsidiary. We are developing and constructing multiple gigawatts of energy and data center projects in the U.S., enabling more data center and generation capacity to come online faster. We’re on an aggressive growth trajectory and looking for people hungry to tackle the largest energy challenges on the planet.

As Campus Operations Manager — Meitner Energy Center on Intersect’s Operations team, you’ll hold the premier asset leadership role on-site in Pampa, Texas, serving as the single point of accountability for the safety, performance, and long-term reliability of our flagship multi-technology generation campus powering co-located Google data center infrastructure. You’ll orchestrate a behind-the-meter energy ecosystem combining approximately 500 MW of solar PV, 650 MW of wind generation, 1 GW / 2 GWh of battery energy storage, 300 MW of fast-start reciprocating gas generation, and a 345 kV/34.5 kV breaker‑and‑a‑half switching station—including a 300 MW BESS and 300 MW gas microgrid configured for islanded operation to sustain critical data center load independent of the ERCOT grid.
You’ll direct an integrated leadership tier of Solar, Wind, BESS, Gas, and High Voltage / Substation Site Managers alongside internalized maintenance teams to maximize campus Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF), enforce stringent NERC CIP and ERCOT compliance, and ensure seamless power delivery from commissioning through long-term operations. Partnering closely with Engineering, Technical Services, Asset Management, Origination and Trading, executive leadership, the Transmission Service Provider, and local authorities, you will set the operational standard for one of the most technically ambitious power campuses in the country.
Teamoverview
This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect’s mission to accelerate the clean energy transition. The Operations team ensures that our utility-scale generation, storage, and high-voltage assets perform safely, efficiently, and reliably at scale—combining deep technical judgment, data-driven decision-making, and disciplined field execution to maximize uptime across the fleet. Joining this team means leading the most complex multi-technology campus in our portfolio from construction handoff into long-term operation, shaping how dedicated clean energy and flexible thermal infrastructure power modern computing while growing alongside collaborative industry leaders.
