Forklift Operator, General Labor
Job Details
To ensure that we are loading trailers in a timely manner and keeping inventory moving in our forward warehouse through material handling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- The certified operator will log into the forklift and answer all safety check questions accurately.
- The operator will then use the forklift as needed to move pallets in the warehouse and load or unload trailers.
- The operator will maintain safe driving standards at all times.
- Any damage, accidents, or impacts must be reported to management.
- The operator may be required to lift boxes weighing up to 100 pounds and adjust and hand-wrap pallets.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work in an extreme cold, dry environment (32°F to 40°F).
- Must be able to use hands and arms above shoulder level.
- Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
- Must be able and willing to work with beef, chicken, and pork products.
- Six months of forklift experience in the last 12 months.
Hours:
Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Shift: B Shift (United States of America).
