PRN Float Registered Nurse – Amarillo, TX
Maryland Oncology Hematology at Texas Oncology seeks a PRN Float Registered Nurse to support the Amarillo, TX location.

Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)The LTIP is an incentive program that vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
- Provide teaching and instructional material to patients and families.
- Provide psychosocial support.
- Manage medication refill requests from the pharmacy line and record the information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests, procedures, referrals, and future appointments.
- Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information.
- Facilitate communication between patients/families and the interdisciplinary team and coordinate patient‑related services.
- Assist patients in locating community resources.
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical RequirementsFull range of motion, ability to handle and lift patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
