Maryland Oncology Hematology at Texas Oncology seeks a PRN Float Registered Nurse to support the Amarillo, TX location.

The LTIP is an incentive program that vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
• Provide teaching and instructional material to patients and families.
• Provide psychosocial support.
• Manage medication refill requests from the pharmacy line and record the information in the patient chart.
• Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests, procedures, referrals, and future appointments.
• Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information.
• Facilitate communication between patients/families and the interdisciplinary team and coordinate patient‑related services.
• Assist patients in locating community resources.
• Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
• Current RN state license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Full range of motion, ability to handle and lift patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
