RN - Labor and Delivery or Mother​/Baby Nurse

Hospital

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred. Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing. Current BLS certification (must be current upon hire and maintained throughout employment). Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility. Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.

• NRP within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
• ACLS within 12 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring (AWHONN) within 6 months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
• Advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN) preferred.
• HROB – Advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN) required and must maintain while active on the HROB team.

• NRP within 6 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
• STABLE certification within 12 months of hire (not required to be maintained after).
• AP Nurses AWHONN first available class after 6 months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
