• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1650-$1690
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Call Requirement: 6 days per contract

• Orientation: 12 hours onsite

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (5 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS (all required)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (50-mile radius rule)
• Experience in a Trauma Level II facility preferred
• Skilled in assisting with anesthesia during epidural insertion and post-operative pain management

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the PACU and pain management unit
• Assist anesthesia providers with epidural insertion and manage post-operative pain (epidural/intrathecal)
• Operate and manage PCEA pumps and specialized clinical equipment
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Participate in scheduled call and weekend coverage as required
