The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, performs assessments, develops care plans, administers medications, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes. The RN ensures patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Completion of required education to obtain Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- RN with Texas Board of Nursing – OR – current home state license is required for multi‑state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through AHA is required upon hire.
- Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC certification is required upon hire.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in an Endoscopy setting.
- 1+ years of experience in a Surgery setting.
- Experience with patient safety best practices.
