Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced PACU environment.
• Assist anesthesia with epidural insertions and manage postoperative pain effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Manage a diverse patient demographic including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Preferred Experience

• Cardiovascular care
• Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
• Cardiac arrest / CPR
• Carotid endarterectomy
• Post‑cath lab procedures
• Vascular surgery
• Respiratory management
• Airway assessment
• Care of ventilated patients
• Chest tube management
• Neurological procedures such as craniotomy, ICP monitoring, and stroke scale

Special Equipment

• PCEA pump

Additional Skills Desired

• Administration and monitoring of procedural sedation
• Pain management protocols
• Excellent communication of lab values

Scheduling & Time Off

• Call required:
  Yes, for 6 days per contract.
• Weekend shifts: 4 weekends per contract.
• Pre‑approved time off: 1 request allowed.
• Orientation hours: 12 hours offered.
