• Prepare samples for testing including receiving, verifying accuracy, and data entry.
• Perform added water samples as directed by sample specifications.
• Prepare standard controls, verification samples and perform necessary quality control tasks to verify accurate testing of samples.
• Ensure instruments operate properly and samples are analyzed per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide reports of results in accordance with client requirements and producer specifications.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and calibrate according to specifications.
• Prepare materials for daily analysis and store samples after analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Participate in laboratory safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Support corporate quality and continuous improvement processes.
• Identify departures from the quality system or test procedures and document observations in the prescribed complaint system.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
• Analytical skills for determining microorganism concentrations.
• General knowledge of LIMS to process client data.
• Physical dexterity for manipulating samples.

Laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and materials. Safety equipment (gloves, lab coat, eyeglasses) may be required. Daily use of autoclave, lifting materials up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods.

Hourly: $18.50–$19.00 USD. Full‑time benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; optional 401(k) with employer match.
