Retail Sales Associate - Part-Time

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time retail sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Standard retail hours: most stores open 9 AM–6 PM; many closed on Sundays.
• Earned Wage Access program (available on day 2): up to 50 % of wages earned, usable up to seven times per payroll cycle.
• Unlimited commission above hourly base rate.
• Employee discounts available on the first day of active employment and from over 10,000 partner companies.
• Auto‑enrollment in First Cash 401 k after six months of employment.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required.
• Eligible to assist customers outside the building, including retrieving products in exterior storage.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Must have ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan pays 2‑8 % commission, based on the gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
