Experienced Security & Fire Systems Technicians Wanted
We are seeking an experienced
, licensed Fire Alarm & Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, programming, and integrating security cameras, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and access control systems — all tied into customer networks for seamless performance. This position is not entry-level as it requires proven expertise, industry certifications, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Program and bring camera systems online
- Program and bring intrusion systems online
- Install new fire alarm systems and upgrade panels, devices, and components
- Configure and activate access control systems
- Pull, terminate, and test data and fiber optic cabling
- Connect and integrate all systems with company networks for reliable performance
Qualifications
- Industry certifications such as NICET are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the field
- Solid understanding of NFPA codes and standards
- Proven ability to work with networked systems, IP-based devices, and system integrations
- Must meet background requirements outlined by the Texas Department of Private Security
- Active Fire Alarm and Security license required
Compensation
$50,000 - $80,000 yearly
