Commercial Roofing-Laborer

We are looking for commercial roofing laborers!

The basic function of the Laborer is to provide the labor required for the day to day field operations on the jobs assigned to follow the instructions and guidelines of the assessment and to ensure that all quality standards are met.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour

• 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States

• Observes all safety rules, including proper usage of PPE.
• Assist in laying roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories.
• Begin to learn tasks associated with roofing systems, including shingles, PVC, TPO, EPDM, MOD BIT, BUR etc.
• Stays busy doing any work that will assist the Foreman and Roofers
• Works under general supervision, receiving assignments in the form of work orders, inspection reports, or verbal instructions.
• Begins to see next steps in roofing systems, learning tasks associated with specific roofing systems.
• Follows direction of more experienced roofers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to squat, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, climb ladder, bend, kneel, type, and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel.
  
  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent heavy lifting.

Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
