Paladin Technologies is seeking a Security Systems Technician to install, terminate, configure, and test security systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate brings solid cabling fundamentals, hands‑on hardware experience with locks, readers, and cameras, and the drive to grow with a leading telecommunications and security integrator.

• Alarm / Intrusion systems
• CCTV / IP Video
• Access Control
• Access Control systems
• Commercial cabling experience
• Reliable transportation and a strong desire to learn and grow with Paladin Technologies

• Video analytics, visitor management, and IP network systems experience
• Prior exposure to intrusion detection, REX/EREX, and electronic door hardware
• Experience leading a crew and coordinating with GC/owner teams

• Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security solutions with minimal supervision
• Mag locks, electronic door strikes, card readers & keypads, electric crash bars, EREX (Emergency Request to Exit buttons), REX (Request to Exit PIR motion sensors), IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs
• Perform proper cable installation practices (labeling, dressing, bend radius, PoE/IP considerations)
• Troubleshoot and problem solve device, wiring, and network issues
• Read and interpret blueprints/low‑voltage drawings; coordinate device locations and pathways
• Lead project installations as required; maintain quality control and provide exceptional customer service
• Track project progress, elevate risks, and close punch‑list items

• Processor oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics professionally
• Networking knowledge and practical internet/IP experience (IP addressing, PoE basics, switch/NVR connectivity)
• Able to work independently and resolve problems to the customer's satisfaction
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR required
• Current certification in any of the following is a plus:
  Honeywell Pro Watch, Genetec, Openpath, Exacq, 3xLogic, Brivo
• Training:
  Paladin Technologies will invest in training for the right candidate

Pay range: $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
